Control Display

The control display is the shown at the bottom of the screen. The outer lit ring represents your ship's current shield strength. The inner ring is your ship's current armor strength. As you are hit by weapons fire from opponents, either one or both the rings will be reduced in strength. Your shield will recharge over time, but your armor must be repaired at a space station. If your armor strength is completely exhausted, your ship will explode.

Your ship’s available energy is shown in the center of the Control Display. As you activate modules by firing weapons or boosting shields, your energy will be depleted. In addition, energy is used when your ship warps. Over time, your ship’s power core will replenish depleted energy. Always keep an eye on your energy—-you don’t want to be caught without any if hostile ships approach.
