To issue movement orders, simply double left-click your mouse button in the direction you wish to go. Your ship will respond and move in that direction. You ship's speed is indicated by the bar in the middle of the Control Display at the bottom of the screen. The faster your ship is going, the further to the right the bar will be filled. You may adjust your ship's speed by using the + or - keys on the keyboard.
You may also position the cursor over an object such as a space station or another ship and right click on it to bring up the context menu. Select 'Approach' to head directly toward that object. Your ship will stop when you reach the object.
If an object is far away when you right-click on it, the 'Warp to' option will be displayed. When you select Warp, your ship will be propelled forward quickly at high speeds until you reach your destination. This is the best way to travel between planets, stations, or to and from Stargates. The larger your ship’s mass is, the more energy is required to Warp.
