Championship Rules
The Amarrian Imperial Succession committee has agreed on the following rules for the championship:
Voting rules
- Contenders register by choosing the house they want to represent.
- Any pure blooded Amarrian with a positive standing towards the Amarr Empire.
- Registration stands for one week.

Registrations will not be accepted after registration ends.
- Once registration is finished voting will commence.
- Standings will be checked once voting starts.
- Contestants with zero or negative standings towards the Amarr Empire will be disqualified.
- Voting will stand for one week.
- Contending champions shall be voted by pure blooded Amarrian nationals.
- Voters can change their vote any time during the week of voting.
- The top sixteen candidates for each house will go forward to the house pre-trial championships.
Pre-trials - Selection of champion to represent each house.
- In the pre-trial championships, contenders within each house compete amongst themselves on who shall represent the house in the final championship.
- The form of the competition is a single elimination tournament.
- Sixteen teams will start the competition.
Final Championship between the houses
- The final championship is the contest between the five houses on which house shall succeed to the throne of Emperor.
- Every champion will fight all other four champions once.
- A won match will score one point. The champion who wins the most points wins.
- Once final battle is over, heirs of the losing houses must commit ritual suicide. This does not apply to the champions representing them.
Combat rules:
- The combat rules apply both for the pre-trials and the final Championship
- A championship match is fought between two champions and their wingmen.
- Each champion can have up to three wingmen to assist him, but if he chooses he can go alone.
- Once all ships of one team have been destroyed, the other team wins.
- If all ships are destroyed, the team whose ship was destroyed last wins.
- Combatants must use frigate ships only

Competition times will be published on the EVE Player Website.
- Contestants must be present at the location of the championship 10 minutes before a match is set to begin.
- Teams that show up late may be disqualified.
- Referees appointed by the houses decide on winners and losers.
- A referee's word is final.
- A referee can cancel a fight if there are any interruptions or irregularities may affect the outcome of the battle.
- A referee can declare a fight invalid if there is evidence of unfair play.
- Cheaters will be disqualified.
- Targeting, shooting and destruction of an opposing team member’s escape pod will result in the immediate disqualification of the offending team.
- Escape pods damaged by "splash damage" are exemt for this rule.
- Targeting, shooting and destruction of the referee ship will result in the immediate disqualification of the offending team.
- Light missiles, defender and rockets are allowed in this tournament, no other missile types
- Champions and wingmen are only allowed to fight for one team, champions and wingmen can not be wingmen for other teams
- If a champion fails to show up at given time, his team loses the fight
- A team can proceed into a fight if wingmen are missing
- A champion is not allowed to replace wingmen during the fights within the houses
- A champion is not allowed to replace wingmen during the final fights
- Light Drones are the only drone types allowed
- Target Jamming modules are not allowed

Amarr refers to the race Amarr, not the bloodline, so both bloodlines: Amarr and Ni-Kunni are considered Amarr.
